INTERNATIONAL RELATIONS

 The International Relations Division is the external affairs division of the CAG of India. This division is the focal point for bilateral and multilateral interaction of the CAG with the Global audit fraternity.  It deals with:-

1.      All matters related to International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (INTOSAI).

  • INTOSAI Working Group on IT Audit.  It functions as the Chair of the Working Group.

  • Committee Chair for Goal 3(Knowledge Sharing)  of the  INTOSAI Strategic Plan 2005-2010.

  • INTOSAI Collaboration Tool

2.      All matters related to Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI). It functions as ASOSAI Secretariat and maintains the ASOSAI website.

3.      Matters related to the Global Working Group (GWG) and maintenance of the interactive website AGNet2 of the GWG.

4.      External Audits of United Nations and / or different UN bodies.

5.      Bilateral Relations with other SAIs, including signing and follow up on MoUs

6.      Interaction with other Supreme Audit Institutions and other Regional groups of INTOSAI.

7.      Organizing seminars, meetings and workshops of international level.

8.  Matters related to the Panel of External Auditors of the United Nations, its specilaized Agencies and International Atomic Energy Agency.  CAG of India is a member of Panel by virtue of being External Auditors of UN bodies.
