SAI India:  Host of the XII ASOSAI General Assembly 2012

 

CAG of India had been actively involved in the Asian Organisation of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) since its inception in 1979.  CAG of India had held the post of Chairman of ASOSAI in 1979 to 1982 and 1994-1997 and Secretary General from 2000 to 2009.  CAG of India has  been on the Governing Board of ASOSAI continuously since 1979.

In the 40^th Governing Board Meeting it was decided that India would be the host of the XII ASOSAI Assembly in 2012.
