iCISA : International Centre for IS & Audit

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India inaugurated iCISA, the International Centre for Information Systems & Audit, on 13th March, 2002.  

Our new complex for International Centre for Information Systems and Audit (iCISA) is located at Noida, about 35 kilometers from the International Airport/Domestic Airport of New Delhi. The Complex comprises of an Academic and Administrative block, hostel block, recreational facilities and residential blocks for officers and faculties of iCISA.

The entire block is centrally air-conditioned and comprises of an Auditorium, one lecture room and two EDP Rooms. In addition to these, two Seminar Halls, Director's room, documentation centre, library, cafeteria and other administrative rooms are also located in the same block.

Hostel Block

The hostel block consists of 20 Double Rooms, 40 Single Rooms and 5 Suites. All the rooms are centrally air-conditioned. It contains a spacious dining hall and kitchen where all meals are also provided.

Recreational facilities consists of a solar heated indoor Swimming pool, gymnasium, tennis court and an indoor badminton court. Other indoor facilities such as table tennis room, billiards room, reading lounge, music and entertainment room are provided in the hostel block.

The Mandate of the Institute is:

• To establish itself as a leading Centre of Information Systems & IT Audit, training and research.

• To provide a platform at the international level for various SAIs to come together and share their knowledge and experience in various fields of audit.

• To arrange training programmes for the participants from various SAIs on topics of common interest and to provide an opportunity to participants from different SAIs to share their ideas and experience on selected topics.

• To discuss problems generally faced by SAIs as a public sector auditor and suggest remedies through interactive sharing of experience.
