The Revenue Sector Headquarter deals with the Audit of Commercial taxes, State Excise (inclusive of it’s PSUs), Motor Vehicle Tax (inclusive of it’s PSUs), Mines and Geology, Stamp and Registration and Land Reform Departments for this purpose. It’s prepares the Audit Plan, Quarterly tour programme, Preparation of all types of reports and returns monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annually responsible to send the report to the concerned office & section. Letters received from (HQ) (C &AG) related to report and monitoring the field party deployed department wise.

Vetting Section

The Revenue Sector Vetting Section deals with inspection of different Departments (Sale Tax, State Excise, Stamp and Registration, Mines and Geology, Land Revenue, Transport). Compliance and Review of Inspection Report. Issue of reminder regarding different Paras of Inspection Report. Preparation of Weekly, Monthly, Calendar of Return, Quarterly, Half Yearly and Yearly Reports. Preparation of Results of Audit and sent to Report Receipt Section. Preparation of Compliance of PAC. SOF received by field parties, its vetting and sent to DP Cell. Preparation of Audit Committee Meeting for settlement of Paras.

DP Cell

The Revenue Sector DP Cell deals with important Paras of IR and review them as Statement of Facts. These SOFs are scrutinized as per rules, key documents attached and thereafter scrutinizing of Para these are sent to Report Receipt for the action at their end and processing of Draft Paras for inclusion in the Audit Reports.
